J. C. has received various awards illuminating his many accomplishment as an artist. Among these awards are the "Peoples Choice Award" and the "First place Sculpture Award" received form the Central Montana Art Show.
J. C. also received the "Best of Show Award" presented by the art show in Clearwater, Florida. Lastly, J. C. was honored with the "Founders Award" bestowed by the American Academy of Equine Art.
Another credit to J. C.`s achievements was observed when the Hiram Blauvelt Art Museum purchased J. C.`s Bighorn Sheep sculpture entitled "Rocky Mountain CEO`s". Following the purchase, his sculpture was placed in the museum`s permanent collection.
The Hiram Blauvelt Art Museum is an organization "Committed to bring awareness to issues facing the natural world and to showcasing artists who are inspired by it." The museum is funded by the Blauvelt-Dermarest Foundation, is a member of the New Jersey Association of Museums, along with the Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums, and the American Association of Museums.
Additionally, from April 12 through May 28, 1996, J. C.`s "A Day Late & A Tag Short" sculpture was selected to be part of the Exhibition of "The Horse in Fine Art". This exhibition was presented by the American Academy of Equine Art and took place in the "International Museum of the Horse" in Lexington, Kentucky.
From October 5, 1997 up to May 25, 1998, J. C.`s sculpture entitled, "Prairie Passion" was part of the American Academy of Equine Art`s National touring Exhibition. The Academy`s mission by the presenting this touring exhibition was to "bring to the public examples of the highest quality of contemporary equine art."
Throughout the tour, the "Prairie Passion" sculpture was displayed in the Appleton Museum of Art in Ocala, Florida, The Canton Museum of Art in Canton, Ohio, The International Museum of the Horse in Lexington, Kentucky, and the Arts & Science Center in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

In 2003 J. C.`s "Then He Gave Them Horses" was in the Denver show Wildlife Experience Art Show.
During the Summer of 2000, J. C. was asked to create a sculptural monument for the City of Casper, Wyoming. The monument was dedicated in Casper, Wyoming on November 26, 2002. This monument is estimated to be the largest in the state of Wyoming.
In May of 2002 J. C. was commissioned by Rebecca Farms Equestrian Center of Kalispel, Montana to do a Life-Size Monument for their center. It will be put in place at their Equestrian Center in May of 2003.
Sheridan,Wy. purchased a life-size monument in June 2003 of two Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep entitled "Summit CEO`s". In December 2004 a One and a Quarter Life Size Elk Was purchased by a private collector for his residence in Bozeman, Montana.
