Awards and Honors

J. C. has received various awards illuminating his many accomplishment as an artist. Among these awards are the "Peoples Choice Award" and the "First place Sculpture Award" received form the Central Montana Art Show.

J. C. also received the "Best of Show Award" presented by the art show in Clearwater, Florida. Lastly, J. C. was honored with the "Founders Award" bestowed by the American Academy of Equine Art.

Another credit to J. C.`s achievements was observed when the Hiram Blauvelt Art Museum purchased J. C.`s Bighorn Sheep sculpture entitled "Rocky Mountain CEO`s". Following the purchase, his sculpture was placed in the museum`s permanent collection.

The Hiram Blauvelt Art Museum is an organization "Committed to bring awareness to issues facing the natural world and to showcasing artists who are inspired by it." The museum is funded by the Blauvelt-Dermarest Foundation, is a member of the New Jersey Association of Museums, along with the Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums, and the American Association of Museums.
